IBCA/IHSAA recruiting events set for July 19 (boys) and July 20 (girls)

The 10th annual IBCA/IHSAA Underclass Showcase events have been set for July 19 and July 20 at Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis.

Staged by the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association with support from the Indiana High School Athletic Association, the Underclass Showcase events are designed to give exposure to top basketball prospects from across the state to colleges across the state and nation.

The 2012 Boys Showcase will be on Thursday, July 19, and is NCAA certified.

The 2012 Girls Showcase will be on Friday, July 20.

Both events begin at 2 p.m. and last until about 8 p.m.

In 2011, coaches from 92 colleges attended the Underclass Showcase events. Among them were coaches from NCAA Division I programs such as Ball State, Belmont, Binghamton, Bowling Green, Butler, Davidson, DePaul, Detroit, Eastern Illinois, Eastern Kentucky, Evansville, George Washington, Illinois-Chicago, Indiana, Indiana State, IPFW, IUPUI, Lamar, Loyola, Mercer, Miami (Ohio), Michigan, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Missouri State, Morehead State, Navy, Notre Dame, Purdue, Saint Louis, South Carolina-Upstate, Southern Illinois, Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, Stetson, Tennessee-Martin, Valparaiso, Villanova, Western Illinois, Western Michigan, Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Wright State, Youngstown State.

The itinerary for each day follows, plus a link to the tentative list of players scheduled to participate.

2:30-3:30 p.m. -- Stations: Nine minutes at each station; one minute to rotate.
