ABOUT PAUL CONDRY
AGE: 56     LOCATION: South Bend, IN
< collapse bio >

Role at RRSN (Title): President/Founder

City of Birth: Gary, Indiana

Current Residence: South Bend, IN

Education: • Hobart High School 1974

Athletics: Coached seventh, eight, and freshman basketball for Coach Tom Workman in Hobart system from 1979- mid '80s. Won two conference championships and had one team go undefeated. Coached many of the Hobart football players that went on to win the state football titles in '87, '89, '91, and '93. At Hobart I earned three varsity monograms in two sports. Coached Youth League, Little League, and AAU sports in the Hobart Community- in the 1980's.

Work Experience: Started at WWJY 103.9fm radio in 1988. Formed RRSN in 1992, Published RRSN's Indiana Football Guide in 1992 and published several other magazines from 1992 until 2005. In 2006 created the Indiana Football Digest. From 2006 to present produced and directed the Griddy's-Indiana's Largest State Wide Sports Award Program. From 1996 to present- coordinator for the NFL/Colts Coach of the Week Awards Program. From 1999 to present- Executive Director of On God's Team Ministries.

Career Highlights: One of the most gratifying things in live is be recognized by your peers for the work that you do! In 2002, Joe Buck (Fox Sports) presented me with the 2002 National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association “Indiana Sportscaster (NSSA) of the Year” award in Salisbury, North Carolina. In 2006 and 2008 Jim Nantz (CBS Sports) presented to me the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association (NSSA) “Indiana Sportscaster of the Year. In 2010 Mike Tirico presented me with my fourth “Indiana Sportscaster of the Year” award, Ironically, in 2010 I shared the stage with my friend Don Fischer, the long-time voice of the Indiana Hoosiers. It was very humbling to be honored by the IHSAA in 1999 with the IHSAA Distinguished Media Award. What thrill it was for me also to be awarded a National Championship “ring” by Bethel College in 2007 after the Pilots won the NCCAA crown. In addition, being awarded the Indiana Football Coaches Association (IFCA) state media award in 1995 was very meaningful to me. In addition, in 2010 I was inducted in to the Indiana Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association Hall of Fame in front of our staff, family and dear friends.
